Buhrle gave up his last start so Loiza could go for the mexican record. But that was because we were already out of it. The Rotation would have gone Loiza, Colon, Buhrle, Garland. I don't know if we would have thrown Garland in the LDS but he would have gone in a long series.

 

 

I think we would have beaten NY in 4 or % depending on rotation.

This team had everything it needed to go deep. They just didn't earn it.

i think we coulda beat them, too bad the stupid twinkies had to win like 10 in a row.......

We did well against the Yankees in the regular season but the Twits sucked against them. I think we woulda had a chance...

I agree, its a shame the Sox didnt get to have the chance. They played pretty well against the Yankees this season and shouldve swept the series if Manuel wasnt a terrible manager.

Yeah also Yankees looked pretty bad during postseason. Their lefties dominated Minny though. We could probably have hit David Wells and Petitte too. The world will never know.

We would have been fine against the Yanks. They haven't been a problem for the Sox in years.

 

But if the A's win it tonight, this is where our boat would stop. Can beat the West, and we all know that as well as the Sox.

I think the Yankees where very happy to be playing the Twins and not the Sox.

We matched up well against the Yankees. However, we will never know how we would have done and there's no use in crying over spilt milk. The Sox season is over and we can only hope for 2004.

Yeah, but spilt milk that doesn't get cleaned up has a tendency to start to stink REAL BAD!!!
