If you thought Cubs fans couldn't get dumber

Featured Replies

I heard today that Cub fans were still doing the chop last night. What, did they think the Braves were watching on TV? Pathetic morons.

After playing Cincy and Milwaukee to end the season they proably thought they were playing Florida State now...

This did make me chuckle. I was wondering why nothing was said on television.

The same reason that Fox ignored the part in the game where a fan threw an orange onto the field. Nobody wants to tarnish the loveable image of the Cubbies and their fans.

I saw that as well. I was saying to myself, WTF?!?

At my job we have a few TVs and they switch over to WGN for the noon news.

Cub fan walks past yesterday and YELLS, "Oh MY GOD, is the GAME ON NOW????"

.....( sigh )......

They didn't ignore it. They gushed on and on (until I threw up all over the damn place - I am sending those putzes the cleaning bill) about how it just couldn't be a cub fan that did it, it had to be a Florida fan.

Not surprised... not at all.

Heard that too and just laughed to myself.

It's never a Cubs fan, it's always someone else. :finger :finger

Even when they are running around the OF in a Kerry Wood jersey... :fthecubs

But then they noticed it was an apple and they decided it had to be a "Big Apple" and it was from a New York fan. So they were then even placing fans of teams that had no part of the game there, and still not thinking it could be a Cub fan. I almost threw my TV out the window, but the thing is pretty big and heavy, and I didn't want to rupture my spleen or anything. Ya know how it is.

The best part about Cub fans is when a Cub hits a routine fly ball to the outfield they all start cheering and then when the opposition makes the catch they all of the sudden become silent.

Talk about stupid baseball fans!
