    Not really, but whatever.

    No.

  • I'd like to congratulate the Indians on going 18-1 against the Tigers this year. Of course that doesn't matter when you let Daniel Palka go yard twice in a must win game ? Turn out the light

Hamstring

Thank God it's not an arm thing.

Good. Best they shut him down anyways.

Joe McEwing is changing the pitcher?

Ricky. Joe is just going out there for him.

No.

I wasn't talking about him not making the start in general.

The frequency the Indians churn out pitchers is almost unfair. Civale was never a much-heralded prospect, but just dominated the upper minors and has looked great in the majors.

Damn McCann has a shot at getting 20 bombs.

Collins eye is so good.  He does not swing at balls.  Hopefully he is able to catch up with good fastballs.

Palka?! LMAO.

113.6 MPH exit velocity. :o

Really hope he sticks around next season. Sox have a major OBP/walk problem and he fills it in spades. He will strikeout alot, but he will also walk alot.

Daniel Palka not only hit his first homer, he raised his batting average over .100 #stud

Got it. At the game, and happy it's nothing bad. Just think he needed to increase his innings a little more.

Also a bit disappointed as I hadn't caught him live yet. That selfish reason doesn't matter, just the innings increase does.

This.  I believe in Collins.  I see him being a .250/.350 guy.  Which I would absolutely take with his power.

Is Chuck high?  Does anyone think Palka will be back next year?

All kidding aside, I'm happy for Palka on a personal level. He appears to be a good dude and you don't want to see people struggle like he has done this year.

Best idea is signing Grandal.

Grandal / McCann / Collins alternating C / DH / 1B.  I love this idea.

Also, sign a RF and just focus on acquiring pitching.

Bye bye Civale. Bye bye Indians. Needing to sweep the Nats who are fighting for their own homefield advantage while hoping for the Rays and As to lose two of three against the Blue Jays and Ms respectively is not a good place to be.

And I don't want Palka around much more, but I'm glad he got that. Good for him.

That was pretty coordinated, Engel.

I prefer this too but we know they're going to resign Abreu.

You can still do it with Abreu back.  McCann can move to backup catcher.

I'd be shocked if Ricky did that.

I'd be way happier if the Sox would have been able to effectively end the Twins season, but I'll take it.
