"Policy" on wearing jerseys of players traded away

Featured Replies

Wondering what you guys thought about this.  If you have a jersey that you love but that player plays for another team now, do you retire the jersey forever and start wearing it again when said player is out of baseball?  Still wear it normally?  I have a really nice Sale ASG BP jersey (KC 2012 All Star Game, baby blue with matching hat) that has been hanging on my wall for years because it feels weird wearing it now.  Should I cut it up?

Live and let live. Rock that Blue Sale jersey if you want to

I have all of my old ones.  Sometimes the story is worth it.

I have an Eaton jersey because I liked his grinder mentality and thought he'd be leading off for us for the next decade.

Plot twist, he signed the contract extension the same day I got the jersey in Spring Training. I can't remember if I bought it before or after the extension, but I don't make jersey purchases lightly so it is likely that I had much thought about making this purchase prior to making it.

Even harder question - what do I do with my custom Drake Laroche Spring Training jersey?

I think if the player was good, it's fine. Wearing a fucking Adam Dunn jersey would be stupid
