I never tire of accolades for Robert.

I wonder how Mariners twitter feels about this?

I hear there is a small but vocal group on Seamentalk that does not like Kyle Lewis because of his sunflower seed spitting.

The Mariners fans on Reddit just won't shut up about Kyle Lewis' ROY chances. It's like since they can't win games, they need Lewis to win ROY to make up for it.

That... that seems pretty reasonable though right?

Some of us were the same way with Eloy, or arguing that TA7 was a legit batting title contender, or Moncada/Giolito being in MVP/Cy Young award discussions. After the last 5 years, I am not going to begrudge a cursed fanbase their efforts to cling to a rare bright spot (especially since Kyle Lewis absolutely has an argument for ROY right now).
