White Sox Nickname Thread

Featured Replies

Now that we have an up and coming teams, it's time to talk about nicknames. The ones you like, and ideas for future nicknames. Some nicknames are already set in stone, like La Pantera. Duo nicknames are also acceptable, while not as common in the MLB (Splash Brothers for Curry and Klay, Drain Duo for McDermott and Mirotic, etc.)

Does Eloy have an official nickname yet? I do like "Mount Eloy" for Eloy, but it feels like a rip-off of Mount Mutombo.

Nick Madrigal. Most know what I call him but lambast me for it, so I won't repeat it. He is in need of a nickname.

Vaughn needs a nickname for when he comes up and rakes. "Wallace" because he looks like the character from Wallace and Gromit is great, but I doubt he would like that.

Throw out some ideas, folks. All nicknames will be reviewed and approved by @ChiliIrishHammock24 aka joecoolman aka the official bestower of nicknames.

In honor of JoeCoolMan, I nominate Mazara to be nick-named CoLdIcE

I would like to suggest the following nickname for the newest member of the White Sox Alex McRae....Where? When? Who?

Madrigal is Magic. That's easy.

Nicknames should be organic and not forced.  Everybody does not need to have one.
