Not sure why the Angels would want to do it, but the Sox would be taking on lots of salary, so LAA needs to sweeten the deal.

January 7, 20215 yr McHugh is someone who would make sense as a depth option in the rotation or bullpen. Strong out of the bullpen in 2017-2019, was worth 2.7 WAR as a SP in '16.
