guy is 29 years old with a career MLB OPS of 619. I think he's better than that 619 now, but not by a huge amount. He's a nice fourth outfielder, not someone you need to rely on every single day imo.

I love some Engel but he is still a platoon for Engel and defensive replacement at this point. I'm speaking in terms of wanting him to be the guy in LF.

If I had to choose between the guys currently on the roster to play left field more than the others I would choose Engel over Williams, Vaughn and Hamilton without hesitation.

Only his bat though. His defense should be on the field daily. That’s the problem
