Go Longhorns

This has been a great CWS.  NC State is looking like a team of destiny.

My son in law's family are big UT baseball supporters.  They gambled and made plans to be there starting Friday. So Thursday will decide if they get on the plane or stay home.

I love the way the brackets work in double elimination tournaments.

Yes.  I've always been surprised that NCAA and the networks didn't go this way (double loss elimination) in its basketball tournament.  Think of all the extra games/revenue they could get if they did this for the final 8.

NC State has 13 players available after a couple guys tested positive.  So much for my team of destiny call.

Double elimination tournament in basketball eliminates the billions of dollars gambled on bracket prediction pools, which keep ratings sky high. No way the NCAA messes with that.

Great baseball so far. Plus I'm not watching the Sox.

Lemonis just said this is the 3rd time they faced Madden and he's been a different guy every time.  God I love hearing that.  That dude can flat out pitch.
