Marshall is Garbage

I like Evan Marshall.  But the 2021 version of him isn't really something the pen will miss.  Hopefully this isn't a long term injury and we can see him back out there in a few weeks.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's what it is; I also wonder if that's behind his struggles this year - as much as people love to hate on him, he's been far above average in 2019 and 2020. Sad to see if that's what it is.

To be fully honest, but until recently Evan was a great reclamation story by the White Sox.  They got the guy on an MiLB deal, and turned him into a pretty solid middle relief and set up guy.  Sounds like maybe his arm finally gave out though.  Hope for the best though.

Strained right flexor pronator for Marshall. Going to need Soxtalk's resident doctor to chime in here and explain this situation to me like I'm 5 years old.

Career relief pitchers are weird ducks.  They can have a couple of good years, and then all of a sudden they get hit real hard, get traded, sent down, whatever, and then they resurface somewhere and are effective again.
