Instead he walks the lead off hitter and he's out of there. It's not like Larussa left him in to walk Adames like you make it sound. He left him in to get outs and since he didn't ,he rightfully took him out.

My point is that if his leash is so short that you'd take him out after one guy gets on, then you shouldn't be giving up one of your 6 outs left by letting him hit. Either way the point is moot if he just double switch'd Kopech in in the first place. His first mistake created an opportunity for the 2nd mistake to happen.

You are right.  They also said that Goodwin was moved to right for his defense.  They have not been watching many Sox games.  TLR leaving Goodwin in the game thru 9innings was his most puzzling decision tonight.
