October 25, 200322 yr My theory throughout the playoffs has been to let the games do the talking. It worked with the Cubs, and oh man did it work. The Cubs fans were so depressed after losing that I didn't need to trash them, but I still did. I predicted the Marlines to win the WS before the playoffs started and everybody thought I was nuts. These games have done a lot of talking. I don't think Yankee fans are coming up with stupid jokes now, they are probably thinking of ways to say how the Yankees deserved the WS despite actually losing it. (I know, Yankees and losing, they aren't together often enough)
