That's a I'll Take The Damn Split Now Please Crush the Twins White Sox Winner

Featured Replies

Solid series split. Now beat the piss out of the Twins and get some momentum heading to the break. Easiest 2nd half schedule in the AL.

If you can't get behind a nearly 80 year old leader, who has come back to work under questionable circumstances and is showing clear signs of mental decay, then you're just a hater.

This feels like nearing the end of a season where the Sox are out of it and have been for a while with a winner thread having only three posts.

Giolito looked very good again.  It's nice to see him pitching well.  That's the kind of performance the team needs with the offense still...well, playing poorly.  Lopez has been so damn good out of the pen this year.  It's good to see him find his spot, and it's a valuable one.  And finally, the Graveman/Hendriks 8th and 9th was textbook.

Good win.  A much needed win.  Now they need to go take 3 of 4 from the Twins.

Lopez has been aces since 2021, its not just this year.

98.2 IP - 77 Hits - 10 HR (NONE in 2022) - 21 BB - 99 K

Unfortunately when the Sox have won this year it's usually in the hockey score category when the pitching is good, the defense doesn't bite you in the ass and , just barely enough hitting. You can't win consistently that way with our defense and hitting and keep expecting the pitching to keep scores  so low.

I mean you have crazy people on here complaining about Gio's FB after he's just pitched a damn good game .

That is impressive.

The mystery of after scoring 6 runs and 2 or under continues.
