I saw him in the dugout tonight and was wondering what is going on with his injury. All I can find is 5 week old gibberish from Hahn saying "we're taking our time with him". Does anyone have a current status on him? 

 

• White Sox's Aaron Bummer: Not yet throwing off mound

  Manager Tony La Russa said Thursday that Bummer(shoulder) isn't yet throwing off a mound, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

  Bummer has been on the injured list since June 12 due to a left lat strain but has made slow progress in his recovery over the past month. He's unlikely to have a return timetable until he's able to progress in a throwing program.

Unless they’re satisfied with Banks and Sousa, they might need to add someone at the TDL…things from the RH side look solid for the first time in quite awhile, at least.

I recall Stone saying something like it will be a while with Bummer when they were talking about the pen over a live shot of someone getting loose.  Obviously that’s vague but I haven’t seen any update on him in quite a while. 

Read about late strains. They average. A out 3.5 months missed. He'll be lucky to return this season.
