Someone starts a "Only optimistic/positive comments" thread. Which leads to more sarcastic but slightly positive leaning comments. How about they just get to around 5 games below .500 to the point where they actually deserve some praise? That could work, but there still would be negative comments. Follow the draft and consider the moves they should make at the deadline if they were to retool.
