Could Grandal be hurt now?

He is playing tonight so he’s not seriously hurt. Seby looked shook up after running into Burger yesterday. Maybe he’s a bit dizzy today. We already knew Perez was in town so this could be a short term move. Sox an OF short with Haseley going so wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Colas soon, tho he is in Charlottes lineup tonight.

Colas made an attempt at the wall and came up limping. Believe he stayed in the game though.

Edit: He smoked a line drive home run off the RF pole.

When is colas coming back up?

My guess is he’ll rejoin the team on Tuesday in Chicago

Sad that the only minor league catcher on the roster is likely worse defensively then Grandal, who really shouldn't be catching at this point beyond Lynn / fastball only starts.

I hope the Sox trade Grandal at the deadline, get a low end veteran reserve who can actually catch and manage baseball games, so whatever remaining pitchers have a decent catcher to throw to the rest of the season.

Why the F is clint Frazier still here.....my guess is he'd have to clear waivers and their depth is so shitty they can't afford to lose him
