November 10, 200322 yr 27 Year old Korean is making moves to become a free agent. Says he is a possibility in Anaheim and about 10 teams are interested. Full info here.... http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...t=.jsp&c_id=mlb
November 10, 200322 yr Interesting article. It says he wants to command between $1.5 mill and $2 mill per, and people in Asia think he ie better than Matsui. For $2 mill, there should be some takers. Forkit!
November 10, 200322 yr Hmm he's a first baseman. Maybe a possibility if Konerko departs, especially if he only wants bout $2 million, low risk high reward type of situation. If Anaheim want him, that means Spiezio is definitely on the outers there, but I think the Angels made Colon their no. 1 priority this off-season.

The Angels made Shawn Estes their #1 Priority!

November 10, 200322 yr Where did you hear that? I think it was in another FoxSports or ESPN article, and I actually think he'll end up with da Angels. No matta how much money the'll throw at him, I really don't think Bartolo wants to go to the pressure cooker down at the Bronx. I think da Yanks will end up with Schilling instead. The Colon thing was in a Foxsports article on their team fly-bys. What they need: No. 1 priority is starting pitcher and Bartolo Colon is tops on their list.
November 10, 200322 yr I got a little confused there for a minute. When I saw "Korean Slugger," I thought that the Cubs had released future Hall Of Famer Hee Chop Suey, or whatever his name is. You know, the guy with no plate discipline and a soft skull. :fthecubs
