The Getz Defense team is still in full Blame Hahn mode of the honeymoon phase.  They are feeling pressure, but nothing like they will be in a year or two when there is no one else left to blame.

Well of course, it's Hahn's fault Crochet's clock started.

Ignore the fact that they could have locked him up and/or started him in the minors this year (for like what, 2 or 3 starts?) and gotten an extra year of control.

KW/Hahn obviously let them in a bad spot, but the Sox have only made it worse since then (besides building starting pitcher depth. Bannister hire is looking A+).

He shouldn't have really even sniffed the majors until 2022.

Tbh, I would still be fine with the 2020 call-up if they had sent him to Charlotte to build innings in 2021.

But then they were like "no we need a bullpen arm."

2020 was an easy bullpen callup. It also was obvious he should be stretched out once 2021 came. Both can and are true.  We would have easily gained that control back.
