August 4, 20241 yr RHP Jimmy Lambert (right rotator cuff strain) Expected return: TBD Lambert visited Dr. Neal ElAttrache during Spring Training for a second opinion on his shoulder and was able to avoid surgery. He said something was there, but they had a program in place to try to treat it. He was placed on the 60-day IL on March 28 and began an injury rehab assignment with the Arizona Complex League White Sox on July 19. Lambert threw in another game in Arizona on July 23, but was returned from his rehab assignment on Aug. 3 due to a right shoulder strain. (Last updated: Aug. 3)
August 5, 20241 yr It keeps getting better, they can’t get anything right. You don’t need surgery we gat a program. Six months later umm you need surgery. FFS
August 5, 20241 yr I didn't blame a player for trying to avoid surgery or seeking outside medical care.
August 5, 20241 yr They kept Lambert and Foster on the 40 man through the offseason last year while cycling through other arms, some of whom turned out to be useful. It will be interesting to see if Lambert survives another offseason.

FFS It's happened to a few Sox pitchers recently, Rodon, Dunning immediately come to mind. I think there were one or two others but their names escape me right now.

FFS It sounds like the Sox did have it right though. Lambert decided to hear what he wanted to hear, unless I'm reading it wrong.
