3 Runs or Less

Featured Replies

It puts a lot of stress on your pitchers when they know few runs are coming.  Last year the Sox scored three runs or less an astounding 105 times.  This year 6 of 9 games fall into this category.

What’s the record?  105 sounds pretty terrible

I think it was a record but can't find it now.

But the offense wouldn’t have benefitted from adding guys like Alonso and Santander lol. Good chance their record is 4-5 or 5-4 if they actually made a real effort to improve the offense in the offseason.

Thank you for the stats.  They have been an atrocious hitting team for most of the past decade.  It's amazing how well they draw.

Later confirmed that the mystery team is the White Sox, so they are making better decisions at the plate at least.

That’s kinda scary because what’s going to happen to the offense when they don’t?
