Timmy U
Interesting to see Schweitzer scheduled for the day they have a rotation opening. No pressure on your first AAA start, kid.
Lyle Moooton
This is the first time I’ve seen Gil Luna pitch and I really hope it’s the last time.
Timmy U
Weird line for Hagen Smith. Not gonna be too effective walking 9 per 9, but with all the Ks, you gotta imagine his stuff will play anywhere. Interesting development to follow.
Timmy U
Schweitzer looking okay. Up to 94. Likes to keep the 4 seamer up. Feels like he has added maybe a tick since last year. Slider down is a chase pitch. Good control, but is absolutely trying to get you out outside the zone.
Timmy U
2IP so far for Schweitzer. 0H 0 R 1BB 3K. Basically a 2 pitch pitcher, but he throws up and down, and changes speeds on the slider. Also shows a curveball. Might be a candidate for a kick change. First 6 Knights have struck out.
Timmy U
9 of the first 10 Knights strike out. The lone exception? Colson Montgomery who walked a stole a base. The offensive suckage in this org goes all the way to A ball.
Timmy U
Schweitzer in a rocking chair. 4K through 3. Average stuff but pretty good command. Working fast. Throws slider in any count.
Timmy U
Schweitzer hit hard second time through the order: bb, 2 singles, long fly out, HR. 4 runs across.

Ooops...still think they will end up going Nastrini or Iriarte for lack of any other viable options.

Nastrini looked pretty good last night. Fastball command is the sticking point as usual with him.
Timmy U
Clean sweep. Kanny rained out, everyone else loses.

BamaDoc
Sweep must be my fault. Someone else start tomorrow's thread until I get the stink washed off.
fathom
Feels like there’s already been 4-5 days where there was no homers hit by anyone in the organization. What a s%*# show.
mac9001
Schweitzer only threw 40% of his pitches in the zone, was constantly falling behind and when he did and knew he had to throw a strike, he seemed to throw handing sliders. His command was pretty solid in AA so I'm going to assume this was just nerves in his AAA debut. He was also just a two pitch pitcher (FF/SL), if you're going to succeed as a lefty you have to throw a change up.
