Old age not being too kind to him, I think he had to be helped getting up out of his seat to stand and wave when his name was called. I doubt he would even be able to swing a golf club. Probably just watching reruns of walker texas ranger. What a life.

Yesterday at 12:26 AM1 day Not impressed with Ozzie's speech for many reasons, but it was his day, and his call to make.

Konerko and AJP said some things about Ozzie that were precious. Ozzie went slowly, thanked a lot of people. As an Ozzie lover, I savored every word. ... He's probably my No. 1 Sox of all time with Gary Peters No. 2, Big Hurt prolly No. 3, Konerko 4, Buehrle 5. So glad the team retired his 13. Ozzie deserves criticism for things he's said as a manager but hey, it was his flaw. The mouth that roared couldn't help himself. Like Konerko or AJP said, one of the two, Ozzie took the spotlight off the players by his outrageous statements and that ultimately helped the guys play ball. Ozzie forever. 43 minutes ago43 min One of my favorite ball park moments. I was in the first row in Milwaukee behind the Sox dugout for a game. Ozzie is smashing the ball that day, but everything is getting caught. His final at bat he is robbed of extra bases by a diving catch. As he's reaching the dugout he pulls off his helmet and sends it flying into the dugout and screams "f*** this mother fucking game" . I say "his English is really getting better." He pokes his head out of the dugout, sees my cap and gives a big smile.
