Consistency is key. If I’m a manager at a store and I switch the duties of my mid day to my closer, they have to adjust. Baseball isn’t much different. The mindset differs based on when they’re coming in. Saying it’s their job to “get outs” minimizes the spot they’re brought into the game.Defined roles benefit all of them, but especially for a young guy. Edited 3 hours ago3 hr by CityFan53
