Four prospects on this list and they are all in the bottom half (#15, #19, #29 and #30). It would be hard to find another system with that poor of return on investment. The silver lining is Bonemer was a draft steal and they have several prospects that are going to help the big league club this season. The Sox desperately need this 2026 draft class to be special for depth purposes.Where would Vielma be if we didn't trade him for Doyle? But, I agree with your thesis.

Probably takes some time to bear fruit. If it will at all. Paddy been gone almost two years now but I imagine most of these players are his picks made by whatever meager resources the previous front office provided. Personally, I’m team “Leave Dominican Teens Alone”.

Probably around 20-22 or so. 20 hours ago, royoung said:Great work as usual from the FS team.It is brutal how little contribution the international market is giving their system. We all rank 30 players and assign prospect points etc. The top 10 was the same. Bergolla at 11, Davis 12, Adams 13, Wolkow 14 and Smith 15. You can believe whatever you'd like though in 2026. 11 hours ago, oldsox said:Where would Vielma be if we didn't trade him for Doyle? But, I agree with your thesis. He was on the just missed list. I didn’t get the impression the Sox often drafted the type of outfielder they have been targeting lately in the draft.
