I still, still don’t get everyone complaining about Colson and not freaking out about Mune. Four strike outs last night. Mune (yes, and Colson too, but less so) is an absolute anchor on the offense. Other than pitchers, every single Sox player has a better bat right now than Mune, any player on the bench.

I’ll go further on that: I believe that every single position player at Charlotte has a better bat than Mune right now. Come on, admit it, weren’t you shocked and surprised at the ONE hard foul ball Mune hit, surprised he actually had good contact? The announcer pointed it out how rare it was.

He’s an anchor. We’re trying to win the division. Get him out of the lineup.

Wait, you think people are NOT freaking out about Mune?

"crazy, extreme power and stuff like that"...WTF? Any of these guys hitting 60+ HRs? Don't get me wrong...30 to 35 HRs are nice...but it isn't "crazy, extreme power"!

  • That's a terrible quote in the OP. Not surprising though based on what he's shown so far this year from his attitude and approach at the plate.

  • Sure but 45-50+ homers and 100+ rbi's.
