Wise Master Buehrle
I used Kazaa Lite to the fullest extent and downloaded everything I wanted to download. As to right now- there is nothing I am downloading because I am in a huge hole in just listening to two particular bands; Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, nothing else. mreye
I didn't see a choice for "None" Music "sharing" program? How about music "stealing" program. Sorry, don't get me started on this subject.
Texsox
I share the actual CD that was purchased and supports the artist and distributors. I have to agree with the eye on this one

sox4lifeinPA
I didn't see a choice for "None" Music "sharing" program? How about music "stealing" program. Sorry, don't get me started on this subject. I didn't see the "The music Industry was sued AND lost for price fixing cds. I've bought easily over 200 cds during that period, so a few downloaded cds from artists I go see live and ACTUALLY support them, won't hurt" vote? actually I do think most people are wrong for doing this, i think there's a minority of people who's collections primarily consist of purchased music, yet use music sharing as a way to seek out new music. After listening to a cd, they make a decision to either purchase the cd or get rid of the mp3s, likewise, they don't in turn share the music they've downloaded. ok...at least that's what I do. I've bought a lot of s*** records in the past, no I just buy what I like from downloading. I've done this 3 times in the last couple months. mreye
My music sharing program is FM Stereo. If I like it there, I BUY it. Iknow. It's crazy, but it's a really cool thing. I think I read somewhere that it's not free to get guitars and drums and to use the recording studio. I know it's a surprise to find out that they don't just spend all of their own money so you can have something nice to listen to.

Texsox
Pa is a indie fan and if any indie artist he likes actually sold records they wouldn't be indie anymore. He's really downloading to protect them from success and the money that would corrupt their creativity.

The investment of recording in a studio so you have a medium that people will hear your music is worth while. Most bands record and sell albums to pay for tours, which in turn makes them most of their money. The widespread cd burners and music downloaders sans etiquette is harmful..not the actually buring and music sharing.

I've burned cds from my favorite bands...and in turn once I have the money I buy their cd and see them in concert 2-3 times. I did this with Coldplay just recently....I burned their parachuettes disc back in '00...went to see 'em and then bought their records. And they're about as sell out as you can get while still maintaining music credibility.
