Yeah, now we both know that Oceania doesn't deserve an automatic bid...but they do get f***ed by having to play the fifth place team out of South American qualifiers (I think it's fifth, maybe sixth). I personally would give Oceania an automatic bid, and there is little question that the Aussies would get it. Austrailia's soccer has greatly improved as of late, but they are the only team out of Oceania. Didn't they take the automatic bid for defending champions away too after what happen to France at the last World Cup?

It's pretty hard though for Australia havin to play a good south american team like Uruguay or Colombia just to get in the world cup. And don't say we wouldn't do anythin once we get in there, we did beat England last February ya know.

True, but the same goes for the bottom teams that come from Europe and South America. Let's not forget that only half the teams make it out of the first round. Some teams can't make it.
