Suggestions for new banner?

Featured Replies

I know what I want to do, but I'll just toss it out to the peeps.

After looking through some of the ST photos, I'm thinking... Buehrle, Loazia, and my guy Takatsu. :headbang

I'd be up for anythin, ur banner's always seem to do da job Ian. :D

After looking through some of the ST photos,

that sandy pic with ball in air in front of face was pretty cool :headbang

your idea sounds awesome and since i've joined this site always had cool banners so i think we all trust your judgement. :headbang

I was going to wait until somwhere closer to the season to bring up this suggestion, but since you prompted, here goes.

Head over to NFL-fans.com, and poke around for a few minutes, pay attention to the banners. They are running a remotely hosted CGI script that will randomly change the banner on page load.

It would be really easy to do, once we get some good action photos of the season. Just create a template and drop in players to make a new banner. I think that would look sweet...

But for now, just do whatever you want.

Interesting, that's something Heads or Jason would have to do ofcourse.

I say you have a pic of Tucson Electric Park on it with tiny pics of Buehrle, E-Lo, and Shigo!

I actually want to steal from this idea. A pic of TEP, with all of the guys who were on the trading block this year (Maggs, Frank, Pauly, Carlos etc) with the title "Something to Prove"

Hey! I get partial credit!

And actually, if that idea doesn't get used for a banner. I would love someone to make that as a signature for me.

A rotating banner is not hard to do.

In fact, it can be set up in less than 5 minutes.

I say make several banners and rotate them on the site using the random banner CGI script.
