February 25, 200422 yr Whole article here But here is the list: 10. "The Tick" (FOX) Premiered: November 2001 Cancelled: January 2002 9. "My So-Called Life" (ABC) Premiered: August 1994 Cancelled: January 1995 8. "The Ben Stiller Show" (FOX) Premiered: September 1992 Cancelled: January 1993 7. "Sports Night" (ABC) Premiered: September 1998 Cancelled: May 2000 6. "Firefly" (FOX) Premiered: September 2002 Cancelled: December 2002 5. "NewsRadio" (NBC) Premiered: March 1995 Cancelled: July 1999 4. "Family Guy" (FOX) Premiered: January 1999 Cancelled: 2001 3. "Homicide: Life on the Street" (NBC) Premiered: January 1993 Cancelled: August 1999 2. "Freaks and Geeks" (NBC) / "Undeclared" (FOX) "Freaks" - Premiered: September 1999 Cancelled: July 2000 "Undeclared" - Premiered: September 2001 Cancelled: March 2002 1. "Mr. Show with Bob and David" (HBO) Premiered: September 1995 Cancelled: December 1998 Anybody notice a disturbing trend as far as networks that canceled these shows? 7 out of the 10(well 11) are ABC or FOX. Maybe they shouldn't be so quick to cut the cord next time. At least FOX has learned there lesson regarding Family Guy and are bringing it back. I don't agree with putting Newsradio on the list though. It was on the longest of anything on that list. I'd also move Sports Night lower on the count down, and also add Denis Leary's short lived cop comedy The Job on the list as well, and Guess what network that show was on? ABC.
February 25, 200422 yr I agree with "Family Guy", "Undeclared" and "Sports night", the rest sucked. Why the hell is the tick on this list?
February 25, 200422 yr I agree with "Family Guy", "Undeclared" and "Sports night", the rest sucked. Why the hell is the tick on this list? The Tick was destined to fail as live action, but was great and really funny as a saturday morning cartoon and in its original form as an indie comic book. I think they had to do it because casting Putty as the Tick was perfect even if the show sucked arse. I was upset when they cancelled The Critic, but I concede it lost a little in the end compared to the first season.

February 25, 200422 yr 8. "The Ben Stiller Show" (FOX) Premiered: September 1992 Cancelled: January 1993 5. "NewsRadio" (NBC) Premiered: March 1995 Cancelled: July 1999 4. "Family Guy" (FOX) Premiered: January 1999 Cancelled: 2001 2. Phil Hartman's wife should have been slaughtered Minority Report-style before she had a chance. What a b****. 4. It's no Simpsons, but FOX made a HUGE mistake. Greedy POS had to lay in the ratings bed they made back in 2001. 2. Only seen a few eps, but I like it. A smart show with a heart? Real expensive royalty rock-n-roll soundtrack? Yep, that's the ticket. 1. Where do I go-o now? My car has broooken dooown.....
February 25, 200422 yr Mr. Show was cancelled? I thought Bob and David got tired of it and it was a mutual termination.
February 25, 200422 yr Author my #1- Seinfeld They didn't cancel Seinfeld. He voluntarily ended the show.
February 25, 200422 yr Newsradio was a good show, it was funny. It wasnt the same after Phil Hartman died though. It's too bad that was cancelled.
