Illini v Iowa Thread

What channel's the game on tonight?

What channel's the game on tonight?

Where do you live?

The Chicagoland area should be on channel WYIN-56 whatever that is.

Oh, and I forgot to mention :fyou the Hawkeyes and their whining b**** of a coach.

I don't think it's on TV.

I don't have to worry about the channel because I'm in Champaign but the Trib says it is televised, see above post. But usually it would be on WCIU but the Chicago Bulls are on, I'm sure a lot of people are still interested in their season.

No, the game isnt on WCIU 26 because the Bulls game starts at 7:30. Looks like ill be forced to listen to it on the radio. I should have looked ahead to see if it was on, i would have gone to a bar or something. This should be a very tough game for Illinois, Iowa plays pretty good at home, and we seem to always struggle at Carver Hawkeye Arena.

GO ILLINI!

Radio is delayed to 9:00. You would almost be better off just bringing up ESPN gamecast or cbssportsline.com has something similar as well.

Cbssportsline.com gamecast for me...Damn Bulls, I love you, but your season is over. Noone cares.

Well, i'll be gamecasting too, but i believe an FM station around 105. something covers it... (105.9??) Yeah, that would suck if i couldnt even listen to it on the radio, i would have purchaced Full Court if i knew i was gonna miss a game. Damn Blackhawks and Bulls... screwing everything up!

down in champaign we will be watching live and cheering our asses off!!!

NO MEANS NO PIERRE!

In the chicago-land area you can only watch the game on a non-cable tv, ch. 56. If you have cable on that tv, you can't see it.

Forcing me to watch the game in my kitchen :(

s***, I didn't realize the game started. Illini up 8-4, with 15:00 left according to sportsline.com

Was that dunk Luther had an alley oop dunk, or did he beat someone off the dribble??

Is the game on the radio?

Alley oop. Beautiful feed by Deron Williams.

Is the game on the radio?

I tried finding it, but couldnt locate it. I could have sworn there was an Illini affiliate on an FM station in chicago if it wasnt on the Score. I WANT TO WATCH THIS GAME DAMMIT! (POUTING SMILEY)

WYIN 56 is a local channel for me and I get it on cable. I didn't know you got it in Illinois. Pledge your support SoxnBears!! You better be thankful for us in Northwest Indiana with our great public television. The guy on the right goes to my church. ;)

ESPN game update

last wednesday another poster pointed me to cbs' site since i'm in class but cbs was way behind plus you can set this to refresh every 30, 60, 90 secs or you can turn off the refresh and do it manually

Right now the Sportsline one is 2.5 min. ahead.

Just go to www.fightingillini.com and hit the gamecast on the right side of the screen. It updates real time and shows lots of stats in submenus.

23-18 Illini. Iowa getting the "homer" officials tonight without question. Rich McBride finally hit another three when it actually mattered, hopefully we will see more of that tonight.

MCBRIDE FOR 3! Dammit, i've been wondering why he's been getting so much playing time since he's barely hitting a shot a game, but he's such a streak shooter, that if he can have a game like he did against Memphis earlier in the year, wouldnt that be fun at the end of the year!

Big 10 officials f***ing suck. Illinois has 7 more fouls than Iowa thus far. Luckily Iowa can't make free throws.

Lol, i see that Iowa only has 3 team fouls. Something is wrong there... but hey, NICK SMITH FOR 3(EDIT: s***, nevermind, cbs had it as a 3, gamecenter had it as a 2)!! YEAH!! :headbang :headbang

delayed til nine on the radio

Nick has been pretty awful tonight though. That was his one and only good play tonight.
