March 19, 200422 yr Rauch and Diaz we're 2 of the guys sent out today. KW said they're still high on both, and that they'll see some more action this spring. Surprised Rauch was one already... Especially with guys like sweeney still around, who aren't going to be on the club. Though the way sweeney has been playing, anything is possible.
March 19, 200422 yr Also not really mentioned in this was how good the pitching was. Garland only gave up 3 runs working 6 innings (very early in the spring) and then Marte, Koch, and Adkins came in and worked easy scoreless innings. KW did say that Adkins still has a chance to make the team FWIW.
