I believe it should be Jon Adkins

I would vote for Jackson. I like having the veteran down there to teach the kids somethings. Guys like Grilli could really learn something.

I believe Jackson gets the spot, but ESPN 1000 said that Takatsu may actually start the season in the minors to get better adjusted.

I think Jackson will get it because he will not take a ML assignment. we give him a shot and Adkins and Ginter wait in AAA althoguh I think Ginter is just about out of options.

Jon Adkins definitely deserves to be in the bullpen. Anyone who pitches 7 complete innings without giving up even so much as a single earned run is pretty good. As for Mike Jackson getting it, he's just one injury away from being confined to a wheelchair. It would be a waste of a roster spot to ink him in the bullpen.

Definitely Jackson, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Adkins called up in early May.

Which is why we are lucky as hell to have a Matt Ginter or a Jon Adkins in the minors. :)

adkins

Adkins should get it based on his play, but he won't. It'll be Jackson.

Lets give it to the one-gloved man....Mike Jackson.

If Jon Adkins doesnt get it our management has made a serious mistake, plus it would hurt his confidence severely, he throws a perfect spring and gets beaten buy a guy who hasnt been that spectacular

Yes, it will be the biggest dissappointment in White Sox history.

never said that, but here are their stats

Jon Adkins 7IP, 0 Runs, 0.00 ERA

Mike Jackson 6IP, 5 Runs, 6.00 ERA - this doesnt come out right but thats what i found :huh

I wonder who should make it

if you were wondering Ginter has 3IP, and 3 Runs, 3.00 ERA

all stats from http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/teams/stats/...IT-BASIC/yearly

Are you serious, they all f***ing suck ass. Adkins....people like this guy now?? Mike Jackson, or Matt the Ignighter Ginter. f*** that s***.

They said today on the broadcast that Cotts is going to be in the pen for long relief. They also think Adkins will make the club as well over Jackson.

My guess would be that with Jackson, those are not his earned runs. He has given up 5 runs, 4 of them earned.

4 ER in 6 IP is an ERA of 6.00...4(# of ER allowed)*9(number of innings in a game)=36/6(number of innings pitched)=6.00 ERA.

I cannot foresee then keeping Cotts with the big club unless he's in the rotation. I guess it could happen, but that dude needs to keep starting. Somewhere.

I'd rather have Dr. Adkins pitching in the sox bullpen. I don't see why he deserves a job after pitching 7 innings in Spring training this year? He stunk last year, walked everyone he didn't let hit off him and has never been all that much more impressive at AAA? This is Kenny's guy getting a shot he doesn't deserve.
