where was that 1-2 pitch ump???

KC has a tough lineup. Let's not get carried away. This game is far from over.

Don't let up now.

C'mon Mark!

Graffy works Mark to a 3-2 count and takes a walk.

My biggest fear is when they pull buehrle, and put in shingo or koch. I remember last year when koch came in and got completely lit up against KC in the opening series. You can tell that Mark is getting tired. HR and now the first walk.

Tony G. now up.

He just doesn't look right in Royal blue. :nono

i don't think so, that was just one bad pitch to santiago and a few of those balls to graffy were real close

Mark has been falling behind far too much today. He's lucky he's gotten away with only this amount of damage thus far. He doesn't have his best stuff but he's still pitching well enough.

Damn... that walk cost me me some YNOT points.

get out of this mark.

Buerhle now at 75 pitches.

Berroa hits it hard to Carlos

3 outs

Three outs. Some reason for concern though with those last three batters...

I hate when Hawk says, ball hit hard.

Damn I thought Berroa was about to go deep when that left the bat...Hopefully Mark can go 7 and then we can hand things over to Marte and then...(gulp) William...

I agree He will have one more inning for sure, and maybe will pitch into the seventh. from there its a crap shoot. KC is tough in the late innings. Lets get that run back.

Mark is scattering the trouble. No blow up inning. One more inning and turn it over to the pen. Let's get MB off to a good start.

I'm thinking we need to pad this lead.

Lets hope so Aboz :drink

I'm anxious to see how Ozzie handles his bullpen now because no way can Buerhle finish this.

Off topic, but Kip Wells is the Opening Day pitcher for the Pirates against the Phillies.

I'm thinking we need to pad this lead.

amen brother.
