:headshake Do we like giving this team chances in the 9th???

DP coming up I think you mean.

Uh-huh, or a botched DP again.

Ump, you have to give that call. ITS A SEVEN RUN LEAD.

Wasn't really botched, Beltran is just fast as hell.

Radio, can't see what is happening. But I hear a feed to second, I just figure. :D

THAT IS HOW A HOME OPENER SHOULD END!!!

Koch's offspeed stuff looked SHARP today. Great win for the Sox :headbang

Billy K's Sweeney, niceeeee breaking ball Billy. :headbang :headbang :headbang

Take note cubs: This is how you win a home opener. GGGAAAAASSSSSSs KC gawn.

Top of 9th

Koch pitching.

Guiel reached on dropped third strike.

Graffanino lined out to shortstop.

Berroa reached on error by second baseman.

Beltran reached on fielders choice to second, Berroa out at second.

Sweeney struck out looking.

No runs, no hits, one error.

And once again, Yahoo lags behind. According to them, Tony Graffanino is still batting.

Yeah -- he even got some extra work... Faced 5 batters - and he really got all of them out... some just ended up on base.

Its not to often you have a 1st and 3rd situation when you havent given up a walk or hit with 2 K's, i thought that was interesting...

Nice Job Sox! Hopefully Loazia will be sharper in his next outing against the Devil Rays...

I expect better outings from Este in the future. He can't always count on the offense to bail him out. Regardless, Sox kill KC for the win.

Loaiza gave up 17 HR last year, and 18 the year before with Toronto. He has given up 5 already, through two starts.

I don't know what to say about that.

Watch your cornhole bud  :o

these redneck kc fans can kiss my ass.

I love my sox and my sox kicked ass.

I thought Elo pitched pretty good from the 3rd inning on. I know he gave up the long ball, but he wasn't really hit hard and he seemed to really start getting ahead of the batters later in the game.

Esteban kept the cutter up today and got hit hard. he's gonna need to keep it down and in.. or he is in for a long season. im still keeping the faith.
