April 14, 200422 yr For he's the one that had hope even after koch gave up the lead in the 9th......Ohh and thank the offense as well. Thank You cwsox for never giving up hope We love you........ What a memorable victory this will be.
April 14, 200422 yr I did not give up, I just left Soxtalk, and started doing this. :banghead no joke my head hurts.
April 14, 200422 yr I left for baseball practice and the score was 5-0 and olivo had just hit a double... i came back and nearly had a heart attack when i saw the score...this was quite possibly the scariest moment of my life
April 14, 200422 yr I didn't give up hope. I was thinking to myself three things: #1 - Koch f***ing sucks ass. Maybe we shouldn't have brought him in yesterday. #2 - How big were those runs we scored in the 7th? Ho.ly.s***. #3 - I wonder how the Royals will feel after we have a walk off win against their stupid-asses.

April 14, 200422 yr If I was home, I would have been pissed off. It was funny reading the thread with everyone changing their minds all the time.
April 14, 200422 yr i never lost hope, i had to go to skool so i was in the shower and turned the volume to the tv all the way up so i could hear the game... my neighbors got to hear the bottom of the ninth...
April 14, 200422 yr When I got back from work the score was 6-0 I watched till it was 6-5, then went to el baño Return from el baño, it's 8-5, leave for class. Go to class, check cbs sportsline, watch Koch blow it, come home. Get home and watch bottom of the ninth. So the only runs I saw scored by us were in the ninth, It sucked to watch the game for me, but there was a happy ending

April 15, 200422 yr The only thing I could think of while watching this game was, "how the f*** do people say that baseball is boring???".
April 15, 200422 yr I was lookin at the game thread when the Royals took the lead, everyone was jumpin off cliffs. For a second I wasn't sure whether they were gonna play the bottom of the ninth or what. I still figured we had a chance, with the amount of runs that were being scored. Tugboat, people. Tugboat.
April 15, 200422 yr spiff says when the Royals took the lead, everyone was jumpin off cliffs. I was trying to keep folks from jumping! The despair some people feel! As spiff also sagely suggests, there are 9 innings. I've seen enough comebacks through the years to never give up (except when Matt Karchner pitched for us). It was a surprise to see this thread, thank you!
April 15, 200422 yr Congratulations witesoxfan on your avatar. That is by far my favorite drawing of all time. I was at school during the game, so I wasn't watching it live. I probably would have shot something if I saw what Snoch had done. But, hey, a W is a f***ing W.

Damn I despised seeing that jerk take the mound in a Sox uni.
April 15, 200421 yr Congratulations witesoxfan on your avatar. That is by far my favorite drawing of all time. I saw it in my mathbook the other day and I thought it was neat as hell. Escher had a s***load of other neat ass drawings like that too, but I too like his 'Drawing Hands' the most.

April 16, 200421 yr Well if you'd only give him some run support, he wouldn't give up 9 runs I did support his trade out of town.
