Lets try to find some positives in this mess of a game today:

 

Our relief core was solid - Cotts, Shingo, and Koch. Nice job there, fellas.

 

Willie Harris was pretty good, 2 for 3.

 

Thomas continues to draw the walk - solid.

 

There's a lot of negative so there's no need to point it out - Paully was the old Paully, hitting the ball then throwing his bat to the ground in disgust.

Detroit is losing 9-3 to Cleveland.

KC is losing 5-2 to Minnesota.

Not gonna lament about the loss as you can't win them all. But Wright isn't making a strong case to be kept in the rotation.

the 3 runs he gave up didn't help us win but the 0 runs scored did cause the loss

I've only seen him twice... and in those two appearences. I would have said his pitches "looked" nasty, but what the hitters did with them told me he didn't have the stuff... I could be wrong and he is figuring it out... Who know's

 

I'll hope to be wrong on this one.
