What the hell was that? Was Schoeneweis sleeping?

Speedy Carl Crawford on with an infield single lol.

Nice grab by Maggs. 2 out, man still on first.

Rolls flies out to right.

Bottom of the 3rd.

-Sanchez flies out to Maggs.

-Crawford beats out the groundball to Gload.

-Rolls flies out to Maggs.

Schoeny picks off Crawford and they get him in a run down. Nice! :)

Nice pick off for whats his ass, end of three 1-0 SOX

Maybe he's not the best leadoff guy in the league lol.

36 pitches through 3 innings for Scotty.

I think KC left with our bats

two more walks for big frank so far today. im likin this. he cant improve the BA if he cant hit.

Nice base hit for El Caballo, Sox on the corners, no out.

Years from now, most of my memories of Frank will be him dropping the bat and trotting to first. What an eye. I remember my grandfather telling me about what a great eye Ted Williams had. Frank is the best I've ever seen.

;) let's blow this game wide open now

franks on third with another lead off walk after he scored in the 2nd after his first lead off walk. does anyone have any idea as to what percent of lead off walks score?

Gload loads em up by getting hit by a pitch!

Bases loaded after Gload is HBP. Frank has gone 1st to 3rd on two singles now, pretty cool. Need a crooked number here now!

s*** :fyou double play

I gotta admit, I don't remember too many Thomas home runs, but I remember a lot of base on balls.

Hey, about that trivia question they asked on the Tee Vee, are they really looking to cut the season?

GIDP for Perez, Uribe with a base hit and its 3-0 SOX. NIce :headbang

Sandy Alomar with a blooper base hit, runners at the corners again. Rays outfield is not looking sharp.

Top of the 4th.

-Frank takes another walk! Man this guy has got a batters eye.

-Lee up (Now no 1st pitch swinging this time C. Lee :nono ) Base hit! 1st and 3rd, 0 outs!

-Ross Gload HBP :whip. Bases juiced for Timo Perez.

~~Mound Visit~~

-Timo Perez GIDP. Frank Scores, Lee to 3rd. 2-0 Sox.

-Uribe with a bullet base hit! 3-0 Sox.

-Sandy ducksnorts it, Uribe makes 3rd. 1st and 3rd, 2 out.

COME ON WILLIE!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

-Willie grounds out.

3-0 Sox

I googled and looked to find the % of leadoff walks that score and came up empty. I have to believe that someone has studied this.

probably, im sure the percentage is ridiculous, hence the "dreaded lead off walk"

Aflak question:

Before Ozzie who was the last WS player to also manage the team?

I believe it was Don Kessinger

I want to say I thought I heard some number like 40% of leadoff walks score, seems high, and I am not positive, just seems like I heard that.
