Gload, you choker

Featured Replies

First chokes in the 9th after getting a 2-0 count.

Then chokes in the 9th in another game after getting a 3-0 count.

Now chokes against Terry friggin' Adams when all he needed is a medium-depth FO

Brando.

I hate you.

Yeah, Adams may be old, but he made three great pitches on Gload. The best he could do with the first two would be to foul them off, the last one was just tough if you haven't seen his curve yet.

Ok, Ross, redeem yourself. 1/2nd/no outs.

He did a great job right there if you ask me.

yeah why is everyone so quick to hate

Yes, because costing a game and almost costing another two is < a bunt.

Oh and....

That bunt was huge, brando.

There's no way any Sox coulda got a bunt down in that situation

Congrats Gload, nice job.

Gload is doing well, it's tough getting sparatic at bats. That bunt got the job done though, it was a good at bat. I'm not worried about him.

Gload's got a great bat and i really like him on our team. I love how you're so quick to criticize him after so few at bats... its rediculous really

If you're expecting Ross Gload - and remember it's ROSS GLOAD - to hit .500 and smash every pitch he sees, then you have a better chance of watching your goldfish slam-dunk a basketball.

Even though this is cliche, even the BEST hitters fail 7 times out of every 10 at-bats.

Remember this - Gload is a BENCH player. And for the record, Ross Gload, that BENCH player, has 10 RBI's on the season, which happens to be more RBI's than Frank Thomas and Carlos Lee have for the season. Put that in your pipe and puff it. :headbang

Sheesh, Give him a f***ing break, Why don't you go up and f***ing bat???? I wonder if you would even touch the ball???

Dam being a fan is one thing but b****ig for everything is another. It's not easy to hit a ball traveling 90 mph from 60 feet. Give these guys breaks.

SHEESH! ;)

Hey Brando, this is the guy you wanted to replace Crede with at 3B. So you better stop ripping him unless you want to look like a bigger asshole.
