May 8, 200421 yr Josh Rupe, Anthony Webster, and Tim Bittner are all having solid seasons with their respective minor league teams. Royce Ring has been so-so so far this year. Matt Ginter has been pitching very well for the Mets AAA team.
May 8, 200421 yr Hummel is batting .289 with Louisville (Cincy AAA) and Josh Rupe has only pitched 4 innings all season.

May 8, 200421 yr How's Hummel doing for Cinci(or their AAA team)? I'll be seeing Hummel and Joe Valentine tonight, so I'll try to give you a report.
May 8, 200421 yr Ring has had his struggles, they don't even talk about him here in NY anymore. Ginter on the other hand has been a solid pitcher, I would not be surprised if he shows up at Shea soon. James Baldwin is also having a nice spring in Norfolk. I think he might end up in the back of a contenders rotation.
May 9, 200421 yr I'll be seeing Hummel and Joe Valentine tonight, so I'll try to give you a report. The real Valentine at that, not the guy who plays SS for the Sox
May 9, 200421 yr I'll root for Ginter. He always put up solid numbers down in the minors, but never looked comfortable in the majors. A change of scenery may be best for him. Is Rupe injured? Like I always said, if we were to miss anyone from that trade, he'd be the one we'd miss. Also, Scott Dunn has been good for the Angels. I haven't looked at his stats, but their announcers talk about him often.
May 9, 200421 yr Hummel is now up with Cincinnati as Brandon Larson has been placed on the 15 day DL.
