The Critic Posted May 8, 2004 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Hamilton's Alexander Perezhokin ( forgive the spelling ) was suspended for the entire 2004/5 season by the AHL for that NASTY two-handed swing to the face of a Cleveland defenseman recently in their playoff series. Don't know if anyone saw the video of this, but it was SICK. The poor kid was spasming on the ice after taking a baseball swing right to the face. It was a tiff in front of the net, the guy who got hit, put a really good shot on the kid who is in trouble trying to clear him away, and so the kid turned around with full momentum with a swing that looked like he was trying to hit a fastball, right into the head of the other kid.
