May 27, 200421 yr I have no idea what happened with Andy, but he left the game in the 4th inning because of an injured elbow. I'm not sure why such incident occurred, but I hope the guy is okay. The Cubs are currently loosing, 5-1. Maddux is looking at an L and end up 3-4 (horrible) with the flubbies. The offense may take advantage of Houston's bullpen, but I hope the Astros end up winning the game.
May 27, 200421 yr If Pettite goes on the DL I officially forfeit my fantasy team. Currently i had to get rid of Stewart and Mueller. Anderson and Giambi are on my DL but im gunna dump anderson tonight. Earlier in thes season i had schmit and pettite on my DL

May 27, 200421 yr I had Pettitte, Cliff Floyd, Larry Walker, and Torii Hunter all on the DL within the first week this season for my fantasy team. Pettitte getting injured would not be good for the Astros or my team.

The Flubbs HAD a good rotation. Now 2 of em are on the shelf. I still think Houston's staff is better even when the Flubbs are at full strength.
May 27, 200421 yr Heard on SportsCenter that Pettitte has "forearm discomfort" and it appears to be unrelated to the elbow problems that caused him to miss time earlier this year.
May 27, 200421 yr Author Pettitte left the game with what was called discomfort in his left elbow, which was later updated to a left forearm strain. He is listed as day-to-day and will be examined by team doctors Thursday morning for further evaluation. You can read more here.
