Yoda
The Sox gave him a good 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. He walks the very first person he faces from the Mariners. This has been an issue that Scott has faced since the beginning of the year. He can’t seem to avoid the walks. My question is, can this guy lower the BB situation? I know he can do allot better than today’s performance. He should be looking at a 6-2 record instead of 5-3. Another thing the Sox pitching (and the offense as well) should take advantage of, is the 5th starter. The Sox have lost three games in this road trip without the fifth starter. Take advantage of that absence.

Take advantage of that absence. I didn't see the game. But, it's hard for me to get too upset at, Schoeneweis. He's pitched so well this year. He's overachieving in my mind. I guess he didn't have his best stuff. Seems like his only mistake was the Boone homerun.
AngelasDaddy0427
This was just a bad game but to be honest I wasn't expecting a sweep anyway. We just need to go and get them tommarrow.
Texsox
WHat's the old adage, every team wins 60, every team loses 60, it's what you do wth the rest that matters. Let's hope this was destined for our 60 pile. If this is the worse he gets hit this season I will be very happy and I believe he would be also. SkokieSox
Schoney did fall behind some hitters, but he pitched well otherwise. The difference in the game from my point of view is when Alomar called for an inside fastball when it was obvious Boone was trying to pull all of his pitches. The announcers even said something about that right before Alomar set up inside. I like Alomar, but that was careless IMO. Let's get em tomorrow. Tomorrow it's Jamie Moyer. I hope Elo is up to the challenge.
