June 9, 200421 yr I think i'm the only person who can't wait to see this...... I still love reading the Garfield comics everyday
June 9, 200421 yr NO, I will be seeing this movie on Friday or Saturday. But then again, I have a five year old son who wants to see it...
June 9, 200421 yr no way in heck am i plopping 7 bucks down on a movie where they make garfield a cgi cartoonish cat (as he should be) but have a normal dog play odie which btw doesn't have any resemblence whatsoever to odie the cartoon character. /end rant
June 9, 200421 yr Brian and I are planning on seeing it - I was disappointed that odie is a real dog in this as well.
June 9, 200421 yr btw doesn't have any resemblence whatsoever to odie the cartoon character. /end rant Down, dumb dog.
June 9, 200421 yr Is Nermal "The Worlds Cutest Cat" in the movie? I love Bill, but this just seems like a wrong film. Garfield doesn't even look as fat as he should be.
June 10, 200421 yr I used to love Garfield, I have to see it for that reason. I'm definitely not a fan of the CG Garfield though.
June 10, 200421 yr How do you feel about the casting in the film BeGood, like Jennifer Love Hewitt as Dr. Liz. I know what Shuf would say.
June 11, 200421 yr Author Bump Ohh this movie sucked!!!!!! I saw the preview last night, that we always have before movies come out and it was horrible. I think the whole movie should've been animated instead of just Garfield and the mouse. Brandon Myler (spelled something like that), from Road trip played a horrible Jon Arbuckle.
June 11, 200421 yr Author How do you feel about the casting in the film BeGood, like Jennifer Love Hewitt as Dr. Liz. I know what Shuf would say. She did a little better then the guy that played Jon Arbuckle, but that's not saying much!!!!!!!!
June 11, 200421 yr Brandon Myler (spelled something like that), from Road trip played a horrible Jon Arbuckle. Breckin Meyer and that movie looks absolutely dismal.
June 11, 200421 yr Author Breckin Meyer and that movie looks absolutely dismal. And it was absolutely dismal.
June 11, 200421 yr Just got back from seeing this and I wasn't that sickened by it. Bill Murray was inspired as Garfield, but the rest ZZZZZZZZZZ Nermal was in it, but he was in NO way the "World's Cutest Cat" Nermal we all know. By the way, Roger Ebert gave this Three Stars and a Thumbs up!
June 11, 200421 yr By the way, Roger Ebert gave this Three Stars and a Thumbs up! He's starting to worry me! Gene started giving thumbs up to a lot of films he would never have normally given them to in the last year of his tenure on the show. I hope Roger is doing O.K. He's also gotten so dang skinny. I was torn up for quite sometime over Gene, but Roger would just destroy me.
