I know I know, he isn't the greatest, but he can still through close to 100 MPH and we could probably get him for an average minor league pitcher so why not? I'd be nice to trade him straight up for Koch, but Philly isn't that stupid.

And what makes you think KW would let him closer over Marte or Shingo? And why didn't he laugh and spit on your shoes when you were talking as if you were the White Sox GM?

June 10, 200421 yr Blame Jordan, not us. Hernandez is not the pitcher he was in 1996. His ERA is a lot higher and his fastball isn't as over-powering. Middle relief would be interesting yes.... but he will never be a closer again. At least for the Sox.

Boobs have that effect on some people. I think Roberto is in his position where he is for a reason. True, he might shut us down, but I think he probably still steps his game up everytime he comes to Chicago. I still want Shingo out there for the time being, and nobody else. I keep hearing people say how he should have been there in the beginning of the season, because now many batters have seen him. But I think his style is still so unusual that in a closer role, it won't matter if you have seen him before, your eyes will still need to adjust to what is going on right there.

If by underage you are referring to the person in the picture, it is a prosecutable offense - against the site carrying it and the person who downloaded it, so I agree soxtalk.com might want it to be gone to protect themselves from prosecution.

They are objectable to me - precisely why I don't visit and I turned 'signatures' off here, and no, the website owners aren't always careful. About a year ago there was a whole slew that were prosecuted and thrown in jail for underage porn.

June 10, 200421 yr I am going to go work out - if I come home and the sig is still here because J4L hasn't gotten the PM yet because he is not on line yet, I will figure a way to take care of it... if the much faster than me ss2k4 or another admin hasn't done so already. I want to give J4L a chance to do it himself because he is a good poster.
