Twins have had 4 vs. Rays(s***ty), 3 vs. Tigers(s***ty), 3 vs. mets(s***ty) sox have had 2 vs. A's(1st place), 3 vs. Mariners(lets not go into that. 2 vs Phillies(good team.) This has to be the twins longest home stand. Twins still have not played Yankees,Red Sox, Orioles. I am usually a pessimist, but I believe this will be a race that lasts the whole year, and Sox will come out on top. Now Go thome and the phils and pistilwhip those Twinky s***s. The pitching will not last with 4, and the hitting is good, but not great without Maggs. Also, we need some more bullpen arms. People freaking out over the guy screwing up and the Mets losing. It's 1 game guys. Sure it sucks to be in 2nd, but damn, relax. Wedge Posted June 11, 2004 Share Posted June 11, 2004 more importantly, look at the end of our schedule: our last 11 games are against KC and Det (8 against KC [which should be a AAA by then] and 3 against Det). The 9 games before that are 6 against the Twins (home and away) and 3 more against Det. That's when we have to play big and when the division will be won... or lost.
