June 13, 200421 yr Last Sundays' Seattle game that the goat blew, I was going on a quick beer run when I saw Shingo make fools out of the Mariner batters in the 8th inning. As I walked out the door I said "Ozzie do you see what I saw?" When I got back useless Billy had just walked the winning run in. You have got to go with the hot guy when you want to close wins. Shingo is hot. That said, Koch stood tall with the media after the game and should be commended. Commended and kept the hell away from the 9th inning. Arigato Shingo!

June 13, 200421 yr Marte in the 8th followed by Shingo in the 9th sounds good. I just worry about the rest of the pen. Cotts has clearly been a different pitcher since that start against the Twins. Politte has been bad more times than not. Jackson has been solid. Adkins has been struggling a little. Koch is well Koch. We need to go out and get another arm in that pen.
