June 21, 200421 yr link What the hell, first he 1-hits the Cubs, then he 1-hits the Red Sox. First of all, I'm just hoping that Barry Bonds lands on the DL and misses 3-4 weeks so the Giants drop out of the race, so that way we can give up a s***load and get this guy...he is a f***ing stud. He is now 9-2 with a 2.26 ERA and is just insanely good. We need a guy like this to be our #1 starter. Second of all...when the hell will he just NOT give up a hit and throw a no-no?
June 21, 200421 yr The Red Sox were far from great this weekend.. looked like the White Sox. Didn't u score 12 runs in 1 game against Williams I think?
June 21, 200421 yr He got it against the cursed teams... I'm surprised his arm hasn't fallen off, he throws around 125+ pitches a game...
June 21, 200421 yr Author He got it against the cursed teams... I'm surprised his arm hasn't fallen off, he throws around 125+ pitches a game... He's a horse. Bartolo Colon threw 150 pitches in a game a couple years ago for Cleveland...that totally f***ed him up. Pitch counts for guys with real good mechanics is overrated. If you are fluid, you can throw 200 pitches in a game and not get burnt out, so long as you ice the s*** out of it right after that. I could give a s*** how many pitches he throws...if we could get him, he WOULD help us in the postseason. It's too bad the Giants are in the NL West race.

June 21, 200421 yr Jason Schmidt's last 11 starts = 9-0 with a 1.87 era. It's a shame the Giants are gonna be in the race all year. I would give up the farm system for this guy.

June 21, 200421 yr We have the 2nd least used bullpen in the leauge behind Oakland. The Sox dont have that good of pitching staff to let are starters go that long. Ozzie would for sure leave him in that long. True, true...
