10 Reasons You Can't Miss Watching This Big Series:

--The Cubs had players named Heinie and Wimpy in their long history. We didn't.

--We didn't need Sammy. We have Magglio.

--Frank Thomas has Hall-of-Fame numbers - Hurt's so good.

--Shingo Takatsu is Japanese for "hitless inning."

--We don't throw back the opposition's home runs. We keep our own.

--Last World Series appearance. Last World Series win. Head-to-head edge. Enough said.

--Four words - Churros at The Cell.

--'Ozzie ball' is a way of life, not a style of play.

--Juan Uribe is Spanish for ".300 hitter."

--Wrigley Field might be known as a hitter's paradise. Our offense does the same for U.S. Cellular.

I can't take credit for it. I kind of laughed at it when I first saw it. So I figured I might as well post it on here.

Oh I wasnt giving you credit for it. heck, i dont think you'd want to take credit for it. I'd expect better if it was from you. I am just saying that they were trying WAY too hard to stretch this whole Us vs Them campaign. Dont force it. Let it come to you

Haha from the Trib....

Guillen said the Cubs have a "great pitching staff." He then was asked if it was better than the Florida Marlins' staff he was with last season. "Florida Marlins are the world champions, the Cubs are not."
Haha from the Trib....

:lolhitting :fthecubs

Ozzie is da man! :headbang

Haha from the Trib....

Ozzie Guillen is the voice of reason for all.

Viva la Ozzie! :headbang

Haha from the Trib....

All Ozzie did was speak the truth. Beckett alone out pitched the mighty Wood/Prior combo.

Ozzie... this team just wouldn't be the same without you.

Viva Ozzie! :headbang

Ozzie............ Yes.

I won't be able to sea ny of the games because my cable company doesn't carry WGN. Bastards at Cablevision. Screw you Dolen

I have to miss todays and tomorrows because of work... :fyou

ONe I came up with on the train downtown today....

Them: Take trophy girlfriends to show them off

Us: Take average girlfriends to teach them baseball (if they arent huge fans already)

I have to miss most of todays game, all of tomorrows, and most of Sunday's.

:fyou Baseball and Cousin's open house in Detroit who's TV doesn't have FSN Chicago

Wow, who would have thought that being unemployed would have its huge benefits?

All 3 games of baseball for me with plenty of beer and snacks. Huzzah!

Let's go White Sox!

I don't know if this makes a difference, but only Saturday's game is on FSN. He should probably have WGN.

The open house is on Saturday so I will miss all of Saturdays game. He has WGN, but not FSN Chicago, I already asked him. I will be listening to a lot of the games on the radio on my way to baseball games on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. I guess I could have Gameday and the game threads here on Saturday if I can escape to a computer.

Only 1 real reason to watch the series...to see the Sox pound the ScRubs (Again!).

(Apologies to Brandofan, Kapkomet and the other "cub-lovers" here!) :P
