Says he grew up as a Sox fan watching Ozzie a kid.

TIFWIW

Good.

Let's send Mike Jackson to the Wrigleys for Zambrano

Ozzie seems to be liked by most around baseball. And those that don't know him personally, seem to respect him as a person and/or were a fan of his during his playing days.

If only fandom and respect were all that was needed to sign above average players into a cheap organization, the Sox could be #1 for FA's with Ozzie at the helm.

It's just JR and his penny-pinching that need to go.

Definately, but its a great sign that for once a lot of people seem to say good things about our manager and quietly the Sox organization seems to be getting a lot more respect as one of the more agressive organizations in baseball.

With the new marketing, the new manager, and what looks to be growing fan support, there is a chance that with some good moves this year, the Sox could be making the first steps in what could be a continuous upward moves to become one of the better organizations in all of baseball.

The potential for that is there. The Sox have to go deep into the playoffs before they really get some respect.
