June 30, 200421 yr I'm not sure if Reed has suited up for AAA - Tacoma yet, but if he has how was he done? I'd really like to keep an eye on him to see if he develops into the player hes supposed to be. Thanks
June 30, 200421 yr Reed has not yet played for Tacoma. He refuses to fly so he's taking the greyhound out to Tacoma. ....he'll be there.....next week

July 3, 200421 yr He'll be in the majors in a hurry if he keeps this up. Plus, with the M's season over (like noone knew ) he will probably get a callup. BTW, when he does get called up, I'm sportin whatever # he's wearing on the M's jersey
July 3, 200421 yr He was going to be up before September in all likelyhood anyway. I don't think 2 games will change the Mariners' minds. Even a month of .380 ball will probably keep him in AAA.

Anyway, back to Reed, I wonder if the extra time off he spent while getting to Tacoma helped him. He played well for a couple games after he got banged up in the collision a few weeks ago.

You dont want to bring him up too soon, wouldnt it lose a year if we brought him up now? Bring him up in september, and let him get some hacks. Then next year he should be the opening day LF or RF.

The people who read this board tend to be more interested in stuff like that than say the Sports bar, where it might truly belong. I've used this more as a minor league board than just a Sox Minor league board.
